We recently held the annual Windovert Conference at our Johannesburg headquarters to discuss our national strategy as well as the direction that we’ll be heading towards in the coming year.
Overall, the conference was extremely insightful and provided a great opportunity for the team to come together, ‘swap notes’, share practical tips on how best to run a Windovert franchise and participate in brain storming sessions.
Seven new franchisees (Cape Peninsula, Hermanus, KZN North Coast, Plettenberg Bay, Rustenburg, Mahikeng and Namibia) took part in this year’s conference, adding some fresh and exciting ideas to the mix! And some of the franchisees that have been with us since inception (in 1969), such as the owners of the KwaZulu-Natal Windovert franchise, contributed to the conference by sharing the expert knowledge and experience they’ve gained over the years.
The franchisees weren’t the only ones with something to share. A few of our approved suppliers came along to show off some of their latest products and present new breakthroughs in window covering technology.
With activities such as core product and online systems training, and discussions on the ways that Windovert franchisees can improve their systems, we’re certainly headed towards a more efficient future that provides our customers with the best possible experience in terms of shopping for window coverings!
Looking back, from the start of it all to where we are now, it is incredible to see just how much our family-run business has grown. And we’re proud to note that all of this growth was achieved without compromising on the quality of personalised service that we offer.
From new security doors and flooring products in the pipeline, to our new and improved brand identity that impressed many of our franchisees, this year’s Windovert Conference was jam-packed with surprises. 2019 looks very promising indeed…watch this space!
